Default Converting REAPER - Project / Template to a Pro Tools - Session

Is this possible ?

I don't need to have the inserts / fx / plugins on tracks, just the track list ; With ... perhaps track panning and track volume .

Could this be achieved by exporting the tracks as MIDI ? Would I need to have e.g (empty) MIDI-data on the tracks, or is there some other way .

AATranslator software is the easiest, but it’s $200 for the ProTools version, $60 otherwise. It doesn’t transfer midi tracks. It transfers between pretty much every DAW, it’s a good tool to have. If you only need it for this project, render your midi tracks to audio and import those into ProTools, save the money. I use the $60 version of AAT to go from Ableton Live to Reaper, it works perfect.
