( Solved ) .. Issue with Addiction Synth plug-in

Hi

i installed 'addiction synth' vst yesterday ..
loaded it into Reaper and it worked fine
really enjoyed playing it

today i went to load it again and it caused Reaper to hang up .. had to force quit Reaper
tried that a few times and same thing happened

i've quite a few plugins and addiction synth be the first to cause an issue
( other plugins still load fine and operate as per normal )

i'm using the latest version of Reaper on a Mac
system osx 10.13.4

i did not change any Reaper prefs settings

any idea as to why this might occur .. ?
or as to a fix ?
would like to get 'addiction synth' loading again
as really i'd like to use it in my music

just be odd that it loaded and worked fine after installment
then caused an issue the next day ..

i did install some iZotope sftwr that came as a freebee with the purchase of Addiction Synth
( RX Elements ) i've since trashed those plugins ..
and also installed some patches and samples for iZoptope Iris2
( can't see that those would cause an issue ..

only thing i can think of for now is to re-install Addiction Synth
( 'cause i removed all traces of it bar what's in my 'application support' system library folder

all sftwr has been anti-virus scanned .. no issues there ..

update :

reinstalled Addiction Synth after trashing all prev. traces
same issue .. freezes Reaper on trying to load it

the AU version don't show in Reapers fx browzer
despite being in the system library folder

A.S. when scanned by MPC software comes up as Failed

the A.S. standalone app also fails to run

for now all A.S. related files have been Trashed

cannot understand why it loaded and ran the 1st time

short update :

rcvd. an email from the developer today ..
he fixed some issues evidently .. new version be 6.17
[ other folk have had problems .. but no idea of which platforms or os versions ]

unfortunately the new version on my system repeated the same problem as before
not only in reaper .. as the standalone version .. tried first .. also hung up

i sent a report to Aaron ..
and am confident he will try to fix the issue in time

so if anyone else has problems with 'addiction synth'
have patience :-]

update :

rcvd. email notification about a new version of A.D. .. 6.2.0

dl'd .. 'n happy to say it loads and runs now in Reaper ..
and the standalone version also loads and runs ..
