Default Is it possible to record any channels raw, constantly, whatever tabs may be open?

Hi!

I have multiple tabs for various reasons. Constantly switching between them.
Now, I would like have option to record anything that goes through my soundcard.
All channels, inputs and outputs. Constantly 24/7 on to another drive, continuous clean separate files for each channel.

Could it be possible in Reaper or is there a trick or two for win10?

I have an old Focusrite Saffire LE.

Not sure if i'm understanding correctly, but you might want to investigate the "Save live output to disk (bounce)" option in the file menu. This enables you to constantly record everything going through Reaper,

Yep, this only saves the output. I'm more interested in saving inputs.

it'll save inputs if they are routed through reaper and armed though?

Hm. Not too savvy about this here.. I would like to save raw input - before it goes through all effects and whatnot. Without extra tracks that are also playing along. That't not possible there right now..
+ bounced output also.

My case then 2 raw inputs from guitar -> as stereo to 2 separate files,
and stereo output from Reaper's "what you hear" (already available).

depending on how you route things, i would say it's possible to record quite complex multi-channel live bounces.
If you set your live bounce to a multichannel file, route your dry guitars to different channels to the other stuff with fx etc. it should be possible, but maybe i'm misunderstanding what you are trying to do?

Awesome! I missed the option to have more channels on the file. Looked at "stereo" and assumed the other would be "mono" I guess

You made my day, thank you so much!
