Default Is it possible to split one take without split entire item?

Hi, I have a question about take timing fix.
I want to split take without split item. Is this possible?

Currently, when I fix the timing of sloppy take, I am splitting item and moving the take position.
At this time, I think it would be useful if I could split just one take instead of entire item.

In this GIF, I want to edit only the fourth take.
Bu all takes has been split. I don't like this.

I only want to split a single take. Because other takes may be used later.
When I use the other take later, take disjoint state is not preferable.

As another method, there is a convenient function named "stretch marker" for timing adjustment of takes.
But I noticed that correction by stretch marker often gives problems to the sound quality of some materials.

I felt "split and move" is the most natural method for the sound quality.
Especially at the timing fix of electric guitar takes before the reamp.

I'm not sure that there is,

BUT!!!

I think what you really want to do is select the take that needs to be moved, then Alt+Left Drag from somewhere toward it's left edge. This should change the "start offset" of that take while leaving all the rest alone. Slide the waveform around. Now all of your takes are aligned, and you can swap between them as necessary.

Sorry, the GIF video was broken. I fixed it. "Alt+Left Drag" is what I was doing in the GIF video.
In order to move a specific notes using "Alt + Left Drag", I need to split the item at the left and right edges of the target notes.

Resulting in, unrelated take is also split. (take1 to 3 in GIF video.) I want to avoid this behavior.

yeah.... dupe the track so you can keep the original intakt...
explode takes on the dupe and toss away the ones you don't want and then operate on the one you do want

Thanks. Certainly "explode takes" allows me to split a specific take only.
However, when I explode takes, each take is no longer a take. They become separated items.
This has a practical problem for me.

In that state, convenience of "take function" will be lost.
For example, I can't swap the active take with just one click,
I can't easily move all the takes at the same time. (For such operations I need "select all takes (separated items)" or "group all takes (separated items)".)

So, I want to split particular take without dismantling the item (bunch of takes). I apologize for not saying this first.
Is there any other way? Sorry for making a difficult order.

Takes are ALWAYS a subset of an item. You cannot split just one take, you split the item and all takes on it. That's just how it is.

You could try free item positioning mode, but that's not working with takes any longer.

Thanks. You always give me useful information.
Apparently the current Reaper does not seem to have the function I want.
I will find other effective methods or make feature requests.
