FR: Simple text insert feature
FR:
When recording is paused, provide button to invoke the title screen dialog again. After entering some narration of the video we would click 'ok', LICEcap inserts the intertitle (very silent film like ) and the recording continues. |

Thanks!
OT: hey, I was wondering... ... say that's a crazy world we're living in and that an employee X from a compagny C does a FR about one of its own product A. Now, let's imagine it's a mortal customer Y of the compagny C that implemented X's FR. Do you think Y could "exchange" (not sure of the english wording here) this FR against one he made on another product B of compagny C ? |

Dude, we can't do this here. Meet me Tuesday 11pm in the underground carpark and wear some novelty Mickey Mouse ears so I can recognize you. Bring your FR in a black briefcase. No wires!

Jeffos, that is completely amazing !
I had tweaked the source code to make such a feature but it was really bad compared to your excellent idea ! Thanks !! |

I only discovered this a few days ago.... besides explaining friends some Reaper-feature it is handy too to make childishly foolish pictures and send them as gif(t) like I did to my girlfriend. She was mightily impressed, especially since we got text now....

Well, how about making the Jeffos version (1.1.1) the official version?
That way, it would be easier to find the "most up to date" version of LICEcap, IMHO. Disclaimer: I am no part in Jeffos' Great Plan to World Domination through LICEcap...

Thanks all!
@pâte à crêpe: in fact, there's already an official contact to submit LICEcap updates but I didn't do it because I admit I didn't spent much time on this.. Although that mod has been properly tested (lcf & gif support), I just did what I needed. I'd need to spend a bit more time on the code, just for the sake of it but not sure it'll happen.. |

Darn, my subtle user name obfuscation has been uncovered
Anyway, I will continue using your enhanced version of LICEcap and thank you for your hard work and dedication Jeffos!

Thanks JeffOS!!
I'm merging this into our licecap branch, doing some little edits in the process, I hope you don't mind. Other news: an OSX version of licecap is coming soon, there's a test build that is far from complete on landoleet.org. woot. |
