@Bansaw
I don't see any deals on this page, but there is a free LITE version to try.
EDIT: in fact it is not a plugin, just IR:

@jnastic
I wanted to avoid off topic but yes, I was indeed applying the reverb of the most famous french real Punk band :P

Where can I get a copy of SignalDust's IRDust free plugin?
The previous site is dead and all efforts via archive.org are have yielded nothing.
Thanks

I don't know but you should check out convology XT.

Good points
1. It is free.
2. It installs reliably and runs reliably
3. The quality is not bad for free
Not so Good points
1. While the audio sounds good, it emphasizes certain frequencies in the impulse, making the audio sound brighter(this depends on the impulse), and seemingly better.
I compared with Reaverb and Reaverb was more accurate.

not that it matters, but reverbate 2 is the most tweakable IR plugin I've ever seen...
it does cost some real money however
Ok back to the free world

Out of curiosity how does one test the "accuracy" of an IR? This is the first time I've ever heard of this or "frequency emphasis" related to an IR player.

I'm just getting my feet wet w/ convolution reverbs.
BPB lists Convology XT as their number one free convo 'verb.
So I downloaded it and to me, it sounds pretty nice. But I don't have anything to compare it to. How would you guys say it stacks up? I dl'd the Best Service "Halls of Fame 3 - Free Edition", but couldn't figure out where to get their impulse "content", let alone get it loaded.

That's pretty much the first thing I did when trying out Convology, compare it's output to Reaverb. By ear I didn't think I could hear any difference. However, your comments prompted me to try and null the two this evening. I got the residual down to -82dB. I suspect I might have been able to get the null deeper with finer than 0.1dB gain increments. Perhaps tellingly, to get the deepest null, I needed the output of Convology peaking 0.1dB greater than Reaverb. Perhaps the envelope functions of Convology are causing a change ?
Nonetheless, pretty impressed with Convology so far. Especially for free.
