Default Resize Mixer Even smaller

I have a wide screen LCD at home and am stuck at the current res. This res works great for most everything.

But, in reaper I cannot see but a handfull of tracks at once.

I know I could hide the mixer, and I know I could undock it.

But what I'd really like to be able to do is shrink the mixer hieght some more than it currently allows me to. I know I'dhave to loose some VU meter and some of the numbers down there but I can live with that.

Maybe I'm the only one with this wish??

I with you on this. I wish it would resize smaller too. Sometimes I want it up just to watch for peaks. Dosen't need to be very tall at all for that.

You'll notice you can squash the Router or Media Explorer down but not the mixer.

It's an old habit but I likehaving the edit window and the mixer up at the same time. And sometimes when layering guitar parts I like to use the mixer features on the left side of the screen then jump back to the lower mixer.

I know it's chaotic.

Today I did deiscover the ` and ~ command and that helps shrink the tracks quicly back to small sixe so I can see more in the edit window.

You mean like this:

Steps to reproduce the bug:
1. down size REAPER horizontaly (to its smallest state)
2. down size the mixer (you'll notice it will let you go down below the actual minimum size!)
3. resize REAPER to normal size or even to fullscreen!

To get a even smaller mixer repeat steps 1 and 2 till the mixer has shrunk to your desired size.

NOTE: using the buttons on the MCP may get a bit hard.

LOL!!! Yes that's amost it!!! I noticed if I click another tab and then go back it resnaps full size.

If I would just stay in that middle area with all the buttons.

I'm guessing this is something being worked on?

Dunno if they are about to fix this soon. But in case they fix it they should also fix the resize issue of the TCP (i.e. resizing it to the left (make it smaller)) makes 2 icons disapear.

The Bug resize trick does not work on my home PC? Strange.
