Default wifight! now with CHAT!

Starting with the new version of wifight I posted today (12/9/2007), wifight now features a built-in chat room! Just grab the latest version from http://get.wifight.com/ and hit the Chat button from the gamelist.

You'll automatically be caught up with the most recent chat history when you join the channel. This is so you can jump in and out of wifight (to take a phone call perhaps) without losing the conversation. Have fun!

hi brennan

a feature request:

now that we have two screens (game and chat) would it be possible, when in one, to get some indication that some activity has occurred in the other? The buzz has disappeared of course - if that is too problematic to bring back, then some kind of visual signal on the screen itself would be great (I hate LED signals and have developed a total blindspot for them)

thanks for listening!

Dang, the vibration disappeared again? My 680's vibration ability died in the ocean unfortunately so I tend not to notice right away when this sort of thing happens. I'll do some debugging on it.

I hear you on the feedback between screens. Thanks for bringing it up.

Hmm, 680 Vibration would be a good band name.

thanks Brennan,

i seem to remember the disappearance of the buzz coming up as an "issue" for others too, in the chatroom, ronbo in partic. you might want to do a chatroom survey to dblchek.

680 vibration, hehe, very neo-wilsonesque

..i hope your treo's urge to swim has been curbed by its experiences
