Default MIDI controllers visible and enabled in MIDI Devices, but not available in input menu

Hello,

Reaper has been allowing me to use my MIDI controllers normally until a few days ago, but then it stopped showing them in the input drop-down menu on tracks. It still shows that each of them, respectively, are present in the MIDI Devices tab of Preferences, but other than that it won't let me actually use them in new tracks.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the Reaper Forums!

Try accessing the inputs via Right-Click on the Track Record Arm Button.

My first guess would be that the input selector is currently hidden (either because the Track Panel size is too small or due to the currently used Layout) and you're trying to access the Record Mode options instead (shown here: https://forum.cockos.com/attachment....6&d=1580349885) which is a different thing.

General info about the Reaper 6 Theme and the Theme Adjuster (Options > Themes > Theme Adjuster) is shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8LTBlNzmhA

and make sure you don't have the preferences / MIDI devices window still open when you try to select a track input.

I tried/checked what you both said and it works now! Thank you!
