A few actions that affect the envelope display height cause the automation items to be deleted.
These include
mpl_Decrease selected tracks envelopes heights.lua etc
SWS/wol: Set selected envelope height to default etc
Undoing these will cause the items to reappear but they will be empty
This may have more to do with the scripts and actions in question but I thought I'd report it anyway.

Both of those are SWS extension related (that script is calling a SWS action). A fix is commited but a new SWS version wasn't built yet.

Clamping the values when baseline/amplitude are set results in some non-intuitive editing behaviour
Seems to happen with any negative amplitude

Ah, I suspected as much. I'll avoid their use for now

is it me (probably) or is vertically resizing multiple automation lanes at once broken?
I'm sure it use to be that you could resize the main track and the automation lanes would adjust size as well but also that you could adjust the size of one of the automation lanes with a modifier held down and the other lanes would auto fit to the same size as each other?
Right now, in this pre I have to manually adjust the size of each lane which has it's uses but not as the only option.
Am I dreaming this or is it a bug due to the AI changes?

Hmm, I think that was only possible with tracks (holding down Ctrl resizes all tracks). Not with automation lanes. Sure would be nice if it worked on automation lanes as well...

double "hmm" indeed it would be great! Kind of super awkward right now as no matter what you do with zooming in and out vertically, they don't seem to change size.
Maybe it's because I'm using the sws zoom.. I'll try the scroll bar zoom..

In my opinion, the whole lot of Track zoom actions in Action List available in Action List (be it native or sws) should also work for a (in TCP) selected Automation Lane.
Cause really, an Automation Lane is just a Track also, cause it's visible in TCP, only, we call it Automation Lane.
If this would be implemented, this would open a new world regarding to flexibility in zooming an Automation Lane.
And Track zoom workflow would be streamlined, cause, regarding Track zoom actions,
there would be no more difference between "normal" Tracks and Automation Tracks (Lanes).
Just my 2000 cents.

Just to say..
I've just tried replicating what I had earlier and it seems to now scale the automation lanes along with the track sizes when using marque zoom. So that's working again for now sorry!
Be great though if you could shrink or expand multiple lanes at once though with a mouse modifier?

Still an issue in this build:
In the last few pre-releases, have any OS X users had trouble scrolling in the pop up menu when you go to first save a project?
I use the column mode and recently I noticed that I can't scroll this area or if I can, it's really tough.
I use an Apple Magic Mouse 2 and I have no problem scrolling in any other apps. When I use my laptop, I have no issues scrolling with the trackpad.
Maybe somebody with an Apple Magic Mouse 2 on OS X 10.11 could test this.
I drew an arrow on this screen shot on the area that no longer scrolls properly:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/5my08ff50c...%20PM.png?dl=0
I can scroll other things in REAPER like the actions window but something about the particular area is troublesome recently to scroll. I have to use the sidebar (old-school) or use the arrow keys to get down to a folder that isn't visible naturally.

AIs is deleted when action minimize works.
And my mouse behavior was changed on AI in default: envelope lane and segment.

In the OSX version of this version, the setting "UI updates" is gone from the Preferences > Appearance window.
Cockos: Is this by development or is it a bug ?
OSX 10.12.6
Reaper 5.16rc16 - 64bit.

Yes, it was only really relevant on Windows.
