Default How to relocate a project

sorry if this is obvious. After a 2 year hiatus I'm back recording my band. I accidentally created the new projects within the previous project. If I move the whole project and associated files to a new folder, will I need to redirect the project to the new location?Or will Reaper know where to look?

thanks in advance

It's a good strategy in general to save the project first via File > Save Project as ...
with the following options enabled at the bottom:
  • Create subdirectory for project
  • Copy all media into project directory **

This will basically copy & save all media files used in this project to the new project directory.

In general, you can check and manage source media file paths via View > Project Media/FX Bay (www.reaper.fm/videos.php#U8_fSWVH4qs).

---------
** If you're absolutely sure that the source media files used in this project aren't used by other projects as well, you could also use Move all media into project directory instead here (which will move them from the original location).
