Some stuff that annoys me
The annoying thing about Reapers bus system is that if you solo a track you dont hear the effects from the bus. I wish there was an auto solo option for any bus tracks.
In Logic, even when you zoom out you can easily grab notes in the matrix. In Reaper I am constantly having to zoom in and out because it becomes impossible to grab notes far too quickly.
In Logic and other programs you can grab the middle of the loop selection and drag it around. In Reaper it just starts drawing a new loop selection.
I have to change the matrix zoom for every instrument individually. This is especially annoying since I don't like the default vertical zoom level and have to zoom out once for every midi item I use every time I open Reaper. It would be nice if Reaper saved the zoom levels in .rpp files and there was an option for newly opened matrix windows to zoom to the same level as the last window.
New midi items are the same size as the loop selection. This almost always results in empty midi items that are a minute long and have to be resized. It would be much better if they just defaulted to a bar or two long.
