Default most effective way to filter a send to reverb ?

If I have a reverb buss and want to filter the content of audio I send to it (say apply a 700Hz HPF and 7k LPF) what's the most effective way to set that up ? I prefer to filter on the way in to the reverb, not after it's been through the buss

You could try this:
-- make the source track 4 channels,
-- put the Filter on the source track,
-- in the Filter's Pin Connector, change its outputs from 1+2 to 3+4.
-- Send 3+4 on that track to 1+2 on the buss (Reverb) track.

What's wrong with putting an EQ immediately before the reverb?

If you want control of individual sends, I find it easiest to create separate receive tracks with the reverb as their folder parent:
Code:
Reverb bus
-- Snare send
-- Vocal send
-- Guitar send

Drum bus
-- Snare (to Snare send)

Vocal bus (to Vocal send)

Guitar bus (to Guitar send)

etc

That's genius! Why did I never think of that?

Thanks!

+1

Unless your EQ is also some sort of compressor or distortion (analog modeled) AND as long as all of the settings are the same, using more than one for this is literally just wasting CPU.
