The Audio starts with ReaSynth. So any Audio manipulating Fx before does what?
Nothing.

Midi is not audio. Midi is SIMPLY PUT nothing more than the information that a certain note, for example note C5 is being pressed with a certain velocity and kept for a certain amount of time after which it is released. How that particular note will sound is depending of the VSTi that is on that track, might be a piano or an organ or a percussion or guitar etc. You can put a compressor on audio, but not on midi since midi is not audio.
BTW: this is simply put, because you do can put a compressor on a midi signal but that has to be a midi compressor, not an audio compressor like Reacomp.
Watch some tutorials from Kenny to get the grip between audio and midi.

hmm thanks but i know what is midi! but i had a different idea of how FX items where implemented : )

I thought having a synth on a track with a midi item, and having a compressor in this item would give audio signal to the compressor (or any other effect)

So i need to put the Vsti as FX item too?

also! if vsti in item, midi input does not work!

If you want a compressor on just a midi-item in stead of a whole track, just freeze or render the midi item and then you can use Reacomp because then the midi item has turned into audio. The advantage of freeze is that you can always unfreeze if you have to change some notes. Also freezing saves CPU if necessary because the VSTi doesn't need to work anymore.

Not sure what you are trying to do here?
The thread is confusing. Of course you can use any compressor (including Reacomp) on a virtual instrument track without having to render it first. Simply using it in real-time it will work - it simply works on the track output.
I don't know why you would want to drag the FX onto the MIDI data rather than simply attach the compressor as FX on a track.
Basically I am confused by the problem Deeb is having here.

If you want to save CPU cycles freeze the individual instrument tracks.
