Default Instancing midi tracks, instead of copying

Is there a way to instance a midi track, instead of just copying it?
What I mean by instancing is, that changes I do to it, will be applied to all other instances?

Example: I have a drumpart, that's the same for all verses. I would love to make edits to the drums in the first verse and all others will update accordingly.

Possible? If not, is this a idea for an upcoming version?

Cheers
Michael

If they are discrete items, use propogate (User Guide Section 7.29)

If they aren't separate items I doubt it ... don't see how REAPER could recognize where the pattern repeats.
