Default GUI colors - for the FX window and for other elements

How about custom colors/graphics in the FX window ? Logic plugins and instruments... aii

And one more: easier GUI coloring

1) you open a "color this element" window with a palette,

2) while you move your mouse over GUI elements, they (as a preview) change colors to the selected one (following mouse focus).

3) When you like the result, you click your mouse and the color is set.

4) If you close the palette without clicking, no change is made.

5) And of course there would be a toggle in the palette window between changing colors of the GUI, and changing only item colors (for instance to color-code them and be able "select every item of the same color")

I dunno if it's that important for assignable colors, but the menuing GUI is hyper-dated looking.... and the layout is sort of burly as well...

I mean, this could simply help in quicker customization, making themes etc,

but coloring "per item" is very important - with added commands like:

"select other items of the same color as the selected one" and "invert selection" it makes arranging much easier. In Logic I used it all the time.

I think the most important feature for reaper to have is for everything to be "optional", in more than one way if possible. Will this feature be optional?

/ ironically remembers the lone battle of the "reaper needs a facelift" campaign
