Default ReaSamplOmatic5000 - not working well in v5.80 (osx)

please help - what happened ? I have never had this problem before.

Why are you clipping the signal so much???.., once you turn the volume down to say -6 does the sound still clip.

Haha.., when I do the exact same thing as you I get clipping distortion, now when I lower the volume it is not as bad and then when I change the resample rate the sound gets better.

Looks like the CPU is having issues as your playhead physically stops as the sound corrupts, i'll try it and post back my results too. Just one instance of the sampler on your FX chain, correct?

Edit: All fine here, running REAPER64 v5.80 on Mac OS 10.13.4 Even playing 128th snare rolls and pitching env across them.

There must be some more midi data/automation hidden that's causing this, surely? Your buffer is set high enough to deal with that basic task.
