Default 'custom action' edit screen improvements

Greetings All,

i'm an avid macro user in reaper and it's always nice to find a working sequence for any problem at hand.
many thanks to all developers !

so,
humbly suggested improvements for the 'custom action' edit screen:

* ctrl + click = duplicate action
-> the duplicate would appear next under the clicked action, not at the end of the listing.

* alt + click = remove action

* an action checkbox : off, on, on + solo
-> sometimes macros behave not like expected. it would be easy to uncheck actions to reverse engineer,
keep the actions instead of having to remove them, run the macro, edit again ...

* a built-in spacer : no more need for a custom 'no-op'
-> structure overview.

* a quick way to show your frequently used actions [bookmark system]
-> some actions are heavy in use. why not get them under one filter for quick access ?

* action: 'edit last edited custom action'
-> this would open the action list, select the last edited custom action, open its edit screen.

please, check the mockup !

cheers,
jh / heaving

Default 'custom action' edit screen

mousewheel and scrollbars do not cooperate. pita !

[in the main action list they kind of do work ... down or up, left right is also down or up]

** late night listening tip / bonus :
https://calmcorder.bandcamp.com/

highly recommended !
the last song, 'perfection', combined with any FR might strike as unintended comedy ... but in a good way [lyrics !].

Default mousewheel DOES work ...

when one clicks either the left or right column.

* a new improvement could be :
same behaviour / setup as in the main action list;

cursor in the 'filter' box, ready to type and one can scroll up and down.
this works.

currently, the 'custom action' edit screen opens having the cursor in the 'custom action name' box, with no scrolling reaction anywhere.

Default mockup 2

Hello,

* it would be nice being able to set repeats/loop for an action, no ?
this would certainly compact the listed actions in your macro.

i made another crappy mockup :
