Default Names for "Exploded" Takes

When takes are exploded, I think it would be better if they retained the take name to keep them distinct:

For example:
Take 2/4: 04-5_8 5-Recorded MIDI
currently becomes
04-5_8 5-Recorded MIDI (as do all the other takes)

A better name would be:
04-5_8 5-Recorded MIDI Take 2/4 (and so on)

They would become separate items when exploded right? Therefore the take reference would be inaccurate.

True, but I would like the reminder of their origin.

And they would be unique names - at the moment they all get the same name, which can be confusing.

Accurate or not, it would help if the resulting names could indicate the items origin. Especially combined with the weird take ordering in general, it's impossible (for me) to tell without listening which is which.

I very seldomly use takes, as it confuses me to see my original recording split up and reordered in Reapers special manner. But when I do and want to explode several takes, I do it one by one giving them new names as I go. A bit cumbersome...

Yes, unique take names is a good idea.
Plus, unique take colors might fit, how? Rainbow colors, from high spectrum (violet) to low spectrum (red). Green would be always something like middle takes.

Important take actions for workflows would be:
-take selection
-take copying over, to project end
-take midi file reference to in project conversion (fixing midi items, or protecting them against unwanted external modifications)
-takes as relative midi file references to project directory (project/external) would be described as ./external, so every such .rpp project which has a subdir named external would have its own external midi file references. Take an .rpp, change its external midi file contents and it's finished, if rest is similar. You can still modify of course.

Default Agree

Agree that each new item should have a unique name based on the its origins each take 1 of 26 would have take1_26 at the end of the name or something like that
