Default recording sound from a VST to a track ?

Hi all,

I'm testing some VST(i)'s that generate sound from their own, without midi input. Like the D16 Phoscyon or the Muon Tau, or any other TB 303 emu.

I create a pattern in the VST and play it, I hear it, but I cannot seem to record it onto a track.
I armed the track of course and tried all different kinds of input channel selections, without success.

It doens't really matter what output it will generate on the track: midi or audio, if I can play it back later on and drag the peace of sound where it needs to be in the track, it's fine. Then I can save it.

Other VST's do the job perfectly, but they have midi input (like Synth1) or audio VST's for guitar amplification do the job fine aswel.
But the question here is for VST's without input, the VST is generating the sound itself.

Anyone can help me further with this? Any tutorials/videos/explanations?

Thanks in advance!

The track you want to record to must be set to "Record: output" and record armed then it should work.
