Default Calling all Reaktor VST users: PC-keyboard problem !

Lowercase letter entries no more possible in Reaktor 5 VST within Reaper (last tested in Rpr 3.23rc2) !

With other VST's by N.I. perhaps test it also for this behavior ?

This is annoying as I can now only enter uppercase letters when naming presets/snapshots in Reaktor VST 5.15.002 !

Devs, please look into this issue a.s.a.p.

Thanks for an otherwise excellent DAW.

Reaktor 5 additional problem: Clicking into the listbox of instruments and pressing key down ONCE will not select the next but the one after. Always skipping one. Meaning its progressing from 2 to 4 to 6... Odd.

Doing so in the listbix which REAPER offers (at the top of the FX-window) is working fine, though...

This issue is annoying me as I use Reaktor a bit and having all text as caps feels like I am being shouted at, plus only having access to every second snapshot from the keyboard is a bit frustrating. This issue is present in FM8 also.

I tracked it down to starting in v3.15, it doesn't happen in v3.14159. I think it is safe to assume that it was a result of this change:

VST: more flexible support for passing keyboard input to plug-ins

I am not sure of any free plugins that exhibit this behaviour. Anyone know of any which could help in testing?

Is there a fix for this? I can't create my own snaps in Reaktor is Vst osx? It doesn't do this for AU but AU is only 2 x 2 and I need 2 x 4 that is only in Vst. Is there a work around or fix to get the qwerty keyboard to work in Vst windows?

I stumbled onto this thread when researching how to do "UNDO"'s in Reaktor 6 while using it as a VST in REAPER.

I've right clicked on the plugin and checked "Send all keyboard input to plugin" --- but still can't figure out how to use keyboard shortcuts to UNDO in Reaktor w/ REAPER.

Is it possible?

I don't think you can do that. Gotta use Reaktor's built-in menu commands for that.
