Why need a shortcut that would pop a dialog for project tempo when the dialog is already present at the bottom of the screen next to the Rate fader... (?)

Well, just thought I would ask. When I have to find the tempo, I think I'd go faster by simply hiting T, the number, then play. all via the keyboard. Not the most important thing on earth, but would be nice.

I'm not seeing anything, but there is a shortcut for tap tempo. That's probably your best bet at the moment.

Yep I assigned tap tempo to '5' on the numerical pad. Works a treat!
