Default IDE: Option to reload externally modified scripts by default

An option to don't show the 'The script blah has been modified externally. Do yo want to reload it ?" pop up and make it reload (or not) by default.

Usually I switch between Reaper's IDE and external editor when developing scripts and always want to reload, so having to confirm every time gets a little boring...

I often find I also have to select 'full compile/reset' in order to have changes take effect, in which case, it would be nice to include that option as well....

A thousand times this. There should be an option to automatically reload and recompile any time the underlying file changes.

The default editor is no better than Notepad. Any programmer with a real editor on his machine is going to prefer to use that.

No better than notepad? But it has colors!

But yeah, it's a pretty small script that doesn't involve getting out a real editor eventually.

Did I say +1?

I prefer using the IDE, as I rely heavily on the displaying of the variable-outputs in the IDE for debugging.

But I can understand, how much better for complex stuff an external editor is, so
