I'e always heard that Opeth is heavily influenced by Gentle Giant. Is there a particular GG album that shows that influence?

hmm, not sure to be honest. I like Opeth, though from what I heard, I've never really drawn a direct link stylistically or musically to GG. I would listen to The Power and the Glory, Free Hand and In A Glass house 2 or 3 times each, then work backwards from there when listening to Opeth.
