Default the mapping notes (need help!)

Hi!
In older versions it was so: two midi items are in one track. In one is D5, in other are D5 and D6. D5 is displayed at the same height in both midi items. Otherwise why now?
Anybody can help me?

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but I think
Preferences (-> Appearance) -> disable "Peaks/Waveforms: Automatically scale MIDI notes to fit".

Is that it ?

Oh you're right, I'm sorry.

My screenshot is from the 4.58 pre-release where they added this option, I forgot about this.

So either wait a bit until 4.58 is released officially or check out the 4.58 pre-release (link found in the pre-release forum, see thread named "REAPER pre-release builds").

v5.96
Preferences (-> Appearance) -> disable "Peaks/Waveforms: Automatically scale MIDI notes to fit" disappeared... Can I off automatically scale MIDI notes to fit? How?

This was removed in v5.75. MIDI "peaks" are always scaled now. Relevant threads:
