Requesting new action to play time selection

It would be super useful to have a native action that just plays the time selection, kinda the inverse of the currently available "Transport: Play (skip time selection)"

To get Reaper to play from the start to end of time selection as things stand, I'm using the following settings:
Preferences -> Editing behavior -> "Move edit cursor to start of time selection on time selection change (checked)" and "Link loop points to time selection (checked)"
Preferences -> Playback -> "Stop playback at end of loop if repeat is disabled (checked)"

This only works when loop points are linked to time selection, which they aren't always going to be. It's also a fair bit of faffing to explain to new Reaper users (they're who I have the most consistent contact with).
