Default No sound on MIDI tracks after reloading project

Hi,

I've startet recording some of my ideas that i have laying around in guitar pro. So for drums I'm going for the MIDI tracks exported from my guitar pro files.

so i have the midi track in reaper with the mt-power drum kit as a virtual instrument, pasted the midi files into, a little bit of editing everthing working fine so far.

The problem is: anytime i reload the project or just opened reaper there will be no sound coming from the midi track(s). Theres no response to the virtual midi keyboard either. I'll have redo all the midi tracks from scratch everytime i open the project for it to work again.

Any ideas on that?

You DID set TCP record monitoring to "auto" on the affected tracks, didnt you?

Also, in the mixer are you seeing a red line jumping up and down in the meters when you have no sound? The red line indicates MIDI activity on the track and should be there regardless of audio.

P.S. Just noticed you are both newbies, so welcome to the forums. Be sure and download/look at the free User Guide and also look at some of the many excellent free tutorial vcideos, all at reaper.fm the parent page of the forums.
