Default Is there a way to gradually ramp the tempo up or down?

Hello,
I am experimenting with an all MIDI synth project and wanted to ramp the tempo up and down, but at first try it seems that I will need to create a series of steps on the tempo envelope.
Is there a way to create a sloping "ramp" or somehow prorate the stepping between two stated tempos?

Thank you.

On the master track, click the trim button. At the bottom of the list you will see "tempo map," click the "visible" check box next to it. In the blue tempo envelope, you can hold shift and click on the line to create points. When you double click one of these points, you can set the tempo, and you can check a box labelled "gradually transition tempo to next marker." This will let you make a tempo ramp.

Thank you for the help.

I did not find the checkbox labelled "gradually transition tempo to next marker.", but by right clicking I was able to find a choice to set the points and envelope to "linear", which enabled a gradual tempo change.

Thank you!

Thank you for the help.

At 2:30 in the video the tempo markers are shown to be located in the timeline ruler. I was right clicking on the envelope "nodes" on the envelope and thought of them as the markers. Now I realize the "tempo markers" appear up where the other markers appear and have found the "gradually transition tempo to next marker." check box.

Thank you!

Thank you for the suggestion.

That seems like a really nice feature. I did not now about the play rate envelope, and am glad to be made aware of it.

Thank you!

Yes, right clicking the actual marker is good but if you right click on a node> Set point value> then you'll get to the same window (that has the 'Gradually transition tempo to next marker' option).
