Default How to gradually speed up metronome

Help please. I have a metronome set up with a kick and snare (120 bpm).
I am working on a rock & roll solo on keyboards and would eventually like to reach 140 bpm (optimistic as always). Is there a "simple" way to get the metromone to gradually speed up and up?

master track tempo map, or set a starting time sig marker with the gradual tempo transition option and then an ending one with the target tempo.

This can mess with the internal timing of MIDI items however, so you may need to glue the MIDI first, so it's all continuous per track.

Thanks foxAsteria. I don't have a midi track as such. There is just the metronome going kick, snare, kick, snare,... and then I try to keep up with it using a virtual piano plugin. So is your technique still valid?

Yea, it's only MIDI that has trouble with complex tempo changes.

Tempo envelope: you don't need a MIDI item, btw.
