Default Reaper does not remember the last used path

Okay,

no big problem, but annoying.
When I import media files they are spread over the HDs, but mostly very close to another.
So when I import a second media file it is in the same folder or very close to it, but defintely not within Reaper to which it opens again and again.
Repathing does not help because I change quite often. It would be enough if Reaper would remember the last opened path. For saving this seems to work already.

Agreed. Sounds like you should be using the Media Explorer though. Have you tried that for importing? Much quicker

yes this actually bugs the crap out of me, but alot of other programs behave the same way so I let it slide... but damn it sure saves alot of time if it remembers, or better if you can choose from a pull-down the recent directories used
