Default Pan law: Dual pan gain compensation bug (NO BUG)

Hi!

When you put specific pan settings on a track (Dual pan and gain compensation) there is a bug that applies twice the gain compensation, so the output volume is 3 dB too loud (if your pan law is -3.0 dB).

Attachments show what happens when I play a file normalized at 0dB with dual pan vs stereo pan.

I could have sworn I replied to this thread!

You told Reaper to add 3db gain when the pan knob is all the way one direction or another, and then you set the pan knobs all the way one direction or another. It's doing exactly what it's supposed to.

Sorry, I posted this as a reply to another thread, and reported the bug here. So yes you answered already! I couldn't find a way to delete this thread.
