Default Arturia Keystep

To get Arturia KeyStep MIDI keyboard controller to work in Reaper you might first need to 'enable' the driver...right-click on the driver name (Arturia KeyStep 32) in Reaper's 'midi devices' list (Options> Preferences> Audio> Midi Devices) and check 'enable'.

Default same

I got a keystep last weekend. And seem to have a similar challenge. No matter which settings I tried so far, keystep seems not to receive any clock or start/stop signal from Reaper. If you already found a solution, I'd appreciate some information how you set it up. Best regards, M.

Are the pins on the back of your Keystep set to USB?

Works fine here...

Yes. I have exactly this configuration setting. Later tonight I'll have the opportunity to try it with my Beatstep pro to check if it could be a hardware problem (in the usb interface or keystep).

But probably it's also a wrong setting in Arturia's midi software? I don't know.

Thank you, lachrimae. For some unknown reason I confused the black and white colors in this diagram on the back of my device. Scary.

I switched it to what I previously read as "Sync In" and now it works well ;-)

Best regards. Martin

I have the same problem.
I set the switches correctly and enabled Send Clock in the midi settings, but it only sync the tempo to Reaper, every beat is very off from the metronome.

And it is HUGELY annoying that you can't set the ARP to trigger on KEYS, it only syncs to tempo???
I might have to send this back this is rubbish.
