Default Reaper setup for multi-CPU + multi-core PC rendering

Hi
I read every thread I found but rarerly someone even speaks about multi-cpu.
Can you guys can share your configs for fastest rendering? Maybe we can utilize GPU too in some way?

Im asking because I can render only 2x realtime which its really slowing down my job :-) and I think that maybe my PC is capable to something more... Or maybe should I sell it and buy something with 1 CPU, but around 4 GHz?

(6 cores per cpu)

1 track, rendering 500 files (one by one, with source: "selected media items" in render dialog), with few plugins on track (pro-l, one plugin from izotope RX, reacomp, pro-mb, e2deesser) - i got like 2x realtime rendering, can't i go more?

thank you in advance for any help

You need to spread the plugin load to more tracks. Right now you are only rendering using one core (1 track).
There are scripts for rendering items through parent tracks etc I think, so I'd look into that.
