Right-click on the Master Track -> Master Track -> Show in Docker.
Drag and Drop the Master Track Tab to the left edge of the screen.

Here's a video about how to use Dockers in general: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3sVPiruiUM

Default No reaper-screensets.ini file

Hello, I'm having the same issue except I cannot find the reaper_screensets.ini file to fix the issue of the master track not sticking to the entire left side. I even did a whole search for it... help?

Might probably be the case that you haven't saved any Screensets via View > Screensets/Layouts so far. Hence no 'reaper_screensets.ini' file was created yet.
So try to save a Screenset first (which should create the reaper_screensets.ini file). More info here: www.reaper.fm/videos.php#dx_6sZR_MX4

As a general side note: in case you have file extensions set to be hidden, you'll only see the filename 'reaper_screensets' (without the .ini extension).

That worked out wonderfully and I learned something new in the process- thanks for your help!

I realize this is an old thread but I tried the method posted above and it worked perfectly but how did you change the layout like that without using a docked window?
I'd love to know how I can reorganize stuff like that wihout relying on docked winddows.

EDIT: nevermind, the docker is still used, it just doesn't show the tabs because there's no other window there.
