Default Are Synth Fine Tuning Controls Necessary?

For my synths is it a good practice to include a control for fine tuning? (for example setting A = 440 Hz to 432 Hz)

I've noticed in FL Studio there is a fine pitch control build-it to the VST wrapper. Do most if not all DAWs have this functionality? Is this possible in REAPER?

I think it's useful if you're working with hardware synths or acoustic instruments that might be out of tune!

I guess you mean an instrument level tuning feature, as opposed to individual oscillators, for instance.

It's a nice feature. Besides match real instruments, you may want to make two extra copies of a synth or sampler, for instance, and tune one slightly down and the other slightly up for a bigger sound.
