Default Reaper 5.51 Headphone Mix Browser Interface

The new more_me.html web interface is awesome. Is there any way to add mute and solo buttons?

I installed the Fancier interface a while back from the pre release thread which has solo and mute buttons.
I also see solo and mute buttons in the Kenny video of the other interface
Are you sure you're just not looking in the right place??

Thanks. Have you ever used one of the headphone distribution system from Aviom or Behringer? They're great for the musicians because you can have enough control to set up a great mix: gain, mute, solo, and pan. However, I wouldn't want musicians to be able to have access to all the functions available in the full web interface.

Ideally, just add pan and solo, hook up to some old tablets and you have a tracking system that is arguably much better than headphone distribution systems that can cost many thousands!

Anyone handy with web/graphic design want to make this happen!

Mute is in the more me interface, the M on the right.

Remember this is just sending actions to reaper, it is not a mixer but an interface controlling reaper's sends to the channel which goes to a hardware output.
And if you look in the send interface… no solo button.

The user can mute all the other sends to achieve the same thing as solo.

Thanks, yeah I understand it's an interface, but that's what makes the more_me feature so powerful. It removes the need for expensive hardware. I just bought Behringer's Powerplay system, but with Reaper's interface (along with some cheap dedicated tablets, and good headphone amps), a studio could set up a really powerful headphone distro for super cheap.

If you've ever done live tracking as a musician in studios that have headphone distro systems, the personal mixers all come standard with pan. It makes it so that every musician can set up a really great mix. Am I right in thinking this would be pretty easy to add to more_me?

Am I missing something with this implementation?

Reaper CUE Buss headphone mix -> Interface -> 8 channel headphone amp -> heaphones. Controlled over wifi by cheap tablets with more_me. Would this not give everyone the ability to have their own mix?

I haven't seen send pan used in a web layout yet but looks like it's possible

SET/TRACK/x/SEND/y/PAN/value

Sets hardware output/send pan (0=center, -1=left) for track x, send y. append e to value to treat as "end" (capture), or "E" to treat as an instant edit.

Use y=-1 for first receive, -2 for second, etc.

Default ipad 1 or old ipod use with more_me, not working?

Hey,

I am wondering does anyone have more_me or fancier running on old ipad 1 or old ipod/iphone 4?

I tried it last night. Devices connect fine but the list for "select your monitor track" list is empty on my device. Works great on my iphone 6s+ and andriod phone....

Anybody?

Did anyone ever get the PAN feature added? I am hoping to use the more_me.html interface for live headphone mixing. Since we run stereo, be nice to be able to pan.
Thanks

onewattamp has pointed to what could be a very useful thing for a band... and what he says about not wanting the band players to have full access makes perfect sense....

he wants, as do others I know of, just the ability for each player to control their own head phone mix.... remotely

maybe someone can create such a beast???

With all of the script gurus that seem to be here, it surprises me that no one has done this and shared it for bragging rights alone. I have seen that feature asked for several times on the forum.

I run an X32 with the band now, but I want more control and flexibility that it gives me, and still have a remote app for the band to tweak monitor mixes.

The routing flexibility of Reaper is what is drawing me to want to use this DAW for live band mixing. If Cubase wasnt limited to 4 cue sends, i would use it, just because I know it a lot better than Reaper, and IC Pro would meet our needs.

Oh well...back to the drawing board I guess.
