Default Where/is there a setting to prevent left/right movement of MIDI notes?

Where/is there a setting to prevent left/right movement of MIDI notes?

It's not in the right-click lock menu in the toolbar and "Items (prevent left/right movement" doesn't do it.

Thx for any help :-)

In case you want to move selected notes only vertically:

You can assign, for instance, the Move Note > Vertically Behavior to a [MIDI note] [left drag] Mouse Modifier.

Or are you looking for something else?

For vertical movement of notes, you could also use these Actions, bound to selfchosen keyshortcuts.
No accidental left/right movement of notes this way

Edit: Move notes up one semitone
Edit: Move notes down one semitone
Edit: Move notes up one octave
Edit: Move notes down one octave
