SOLVED:Installed Reaper, it won't run
The message I get (in a pop-up box) is "No applications found for reaper"
Any ideas? Last edited by pax-eterna; 06-18-2020 at 06:26 PM. |

Can you repeat the installation steps and write what you did? Is Reaper running when you just open the binary without installing it? I'm not at my PC atm. Edit: choose option 2. You don't need any root password for the installation!

no the portable gives the same message.
I did the whole .sh installation thing (chmod +x etc etc) and the install routine ran fine, chose I, then option 1, then desktop integration Y, and Symlink Y (pretty much as jack winter advised) - and ran it under SUDO as well. PS: Sorry , thanks for the quick response |

I'll mark it as solved, even though I have no idea how I did it??? Just re-downloaded the install files, ran all the commands I did earlier, and now it works. Maybe I missed something? ALthough the install routine did state it ws completed ok earlier too....<IDK>
