REaper not seeing LinuxSampler (or QSampler) in plugins

I see I have the file
LinuxSampler.so

In /usr/lib/vst/

And I have added that location to where Reaper scans for VST plugins, but no luck loading it when I click FX.

Anything else I should do? Maybe it's not looking in the right location for the plugin?

I think I figured out the problem. I had a few year old version of Reaper for Linux (didn't have LV2 under plugins in Preferences). I upgraded to the current version of Reaper and it has added a tab for LV2 locations in Preferences.

Now LinuxSampler is showing in my plugins.
