it's a nice song, well mixed and enjoyable (though it's not my cup of tea). if I'd have to give you some critic I'd tell you to change the chords sequence

Nice mood piece Luke, well done. The electronic drum roll toward the end, imo it could stand another couple of strokes for dynamic purposes; obviously that's a very trivial detail but imo a 5 stroke roll would be good there, cheers.

Thanks for listening morgan

I would agree with the tom roll. Every time i make fills, the urge to put a thousand hits is very strong lol. Thats why its so simple atm. Will see what i can come up with

I'm glad I looked at the whole thread or I would have missed your remix. The remix is way better, yes I needed the vocals. I like the mood, the only thing I cannot bond with is the electronic sounding drums, but that might just be part of the genre.

Are you using loops? Is that a synth bass?

The guitar is the only loop. I couldnt pull it off on guitar without introducing some serious room noise. Shitty mic.

And yes that is a synthbass

Same quality as expected, used to from you.
Your music is not my cup of wiskey and it didn't cross the music border, so for me it was ok, not more (musical experience).
For your intended public it is probably really great.
Mix was great. Great craftmanship.

I really wish I could get my stuff to sound this clean and crisp.
Everything I record sounds like it's filtered through an old sock..

This is nice and tight....sounds great.
I am a rocker...but enjoyed it a lot.
The volume on the vocal and volume drops a bit at .36+. Imo I would carry that out a bit (sounds like a limiter chops it a tad or something)....but I am fairly new at this (just caught my ear a bit).
