Default Splice - copy/paste samples to Reaper

The desktop version of Splice has options for copying samples to clipboard. Unfortunately, Reaper does not allow paste these samples to the project.

Devs, can you fix it?

I tried to copy a selection from Audacity and paste it into Reaper. But that didn't work.

I found only one SWS action that copies a file into Reaper. To use it to have to copy the file from the File Explorer (on Windows, probably from the Finder on Mac) and run "Xeniakos/SWS: Insert media file from clipboard".

Maybe this action works for you with Splice.

What works with the Loopcloud manager is drag and drop into Reaper. Did you try that with Splice?

Anyway pasting a file shouldn't require the SWS extension. Pasting in audio data from the clipboard as a new file would be nice as well. I guess that could speed up the workflow for those who use other applications for part of a sound design process.

Hello friends,
for some reason I can't drag files from loopcloup 4.0 into Reaper wich is a big advantage when using Loopcloup. It's more or less the same as when trying to drag and drop files directly from Windows Media Explorer inte Reaper.

What am I missing here? Some kind of security issue?
