Does anybody here get ReaVerb to work without an incredible latency? When I play live on a VSTi and create a Reaverb send effect for it I have some serious latency. Basically you can't play live anymore. This happens even when I check the zerolatency box.

You need to stop and restart playback to enable the ZL mode. Stop, insert ReaVerb, set it to ZL mode, start playback, stop again, play.

Could you give us a hint which VSTs support this? I've tried Surge, it has internal LFO's that can be linked to internal parameters. However it doesn't 'move' the linked parameter, it rather seems to do everything internally.

Or am I thinking about something totally different?

I think this is about something like the Virus TI control VSTi plug-in? Or at least that is what I am hoping

Many synths will listen for MIDI and (for example) change output volume when a MIDI volume message is received, etc. (NI Kore 2 was the particular VST that triggered the bug report.) Previously Reaper would not record such moves as automation if they occurred while the plugin GUI was closed.

The problem with the Virus TI plug-in was identical. Just installed the Pre3 and re-tested it with the Virus TI: all works fine now!

Thanks

Cool - that sounds like one of mine

Any possibility of my other Kore 2 related one to enable automation recording of button switches like Acid does?
