Default ducking/sidechaining

Is this sill possible with the new version of reaper?

I watched pipeline's tutorial a few times but still for the life of me can't figure it out!

I can only get as far as creating a send from the kick track (#1) to the bass track (#2) and setting the kick's channel to three, but the dropdown menues have changed in the new Reacomp and I can't seem to get it with fiddling (I think it has something to do with the vst inputs on the top right, but I can't get it going)

help!

I need to update that

In the reacomp and reagate youll see in the inputs both main and aux. Use aux for the channel 3 and set the detector input to aux

Should work then

Worked like a charm!
I was using the main LR inputs so it was half working, but the kick was showing up on it's own channel + the sidechain hehe

thanks man!

hmm, there was some odd behavious in reafir ... I had to close the plug-in window a few times before the extra channels would show up in the VST routing menu

Same thing in the box that pops up when you right click on the volume fader - extra channels took a while to appear

maybe a slight bug? (could also be my inexperience)
