Routing Question - Setting Default Output

When I launch Reaper or initiate a new session, the output routing always goes to the first output in the routing matrix and I have to go in and manually change it to the next one.

Is there a way to set a default routing so it saves my settings?

I'm not sure what you mean. Can you post a few screenshots?

Perhaps set the routing the way you want and save it as the default project template (the one that opens when you start Reaper).

This is showing te output I want to use. By default, the first slot is used. I am able to save as template but would like to be able to save in preferences if possible.

Set up the desired sends in the Routing window of the Master track. Then save it as your default Project Template. You can set that default here:
