Default Loop record for a fixed number of takes?

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a setting or a custom action that would loop-record a predetermined number of times, and then automatically stop?

For example, I make a four measure loop, go into record mode, and then focus on singing the four measure phrase 7x, to get 7 takes of the four measure phrase. Then record mode automatically stops.

I tried making a custom action to do this but my brain froze up.
Any ideas out there?
Thanks!!!

P.S. Can someone tell me how to delete these forum posts?

Thanks, Shanabit.

I tried messing around with Extensions> SWS Region Playlist, but couldn't get it to go into record mode.

I also tried making a Custom Action from simpler Actions but couldn't figure it out.

There must be a way to make a Custom Action, but it's beyond me.

Please post it if you solve this!
