No, it is not "slow", it is not downloading anything. It hangs for over a minute, and then it changes to another browser window which should show the download starting and it is merely blank and no download happening. I am using firefox, I'll try another browser before I raise an alarm!!

The silly part is that I have had your theme before, and for some weird reason i removed it...I'd love to have it back. I did try on 2 other browsers, by the way. The problem could be a network issue in my area, but I doubt it. Good luck!

#Theme Update

Consistency (update : 05/11/14)

I created this theme in order to have great functionalities. With time, more and more people started to use it, and other needs came, especially consistency.

That's why yesterday I take few hours to modified a lot of textures, TCP, MCP and MCP (selected), in order to have a more homogeneous interface.
It still not pixel perfect, but it is better than before !

===

I put a temporary new textual link to cloudapp in the article, waiting for my old download manager to work again :P

You can download the theme on this page.

Note : screenshots are not updated.

I just thought about consitency bewteen grid in arrange view and grid in midi editor !
I put the same color scheme, so it is far more handy :P

A bit more on consitency : I just noticed that the FX button of the different MCP layouts doesn't all have the same color.
Well, I did some copy pasting, and some photoshoping and... it is corrected now !

Download link, as always :

Cheers !

@FatVonFree
Thanks you for your positive excitement

Indeed, you need SWS to have a working color toolbar. If you don't have it installed, go for it, it's free, it's powerful, it's awesome: you wonlt regret it!

If you have toolbars in French, it's because you didn't import my theme, which is just color schemes, track layouts, and buttons style that goes over your config, but my config file (with my menus, my toolbars, my custom actions, my templates, my scripts, my mouse modifiers...). And because I'm French (you guessed it), it is is mainly French. Unfortunately, making a dual language config is not possible, and most of people who actually told me they use it are french. That's why my configzip article is only written in French.
I don't plan to make a english version because it will be hard to maintened.
But you can translate what you want with the menu editors (toolbars editors) for buttons (right click on a toolbar) and with action editor for custom actions.
Maybe it's time to bump my never open to vote feature request Custom Action/Menu and Localization (idead)

@Lafci.H
As I just told, Theme doesn't have any language. Buttons are named in "menus". There is no menus in theme pack, they are in configZip archive.

So you can download this theme without any problem. If you like it !

My screenshots have a lot of buttons because it is my pesonal config. It is not what you will have if you download the theme.

You can gather icons from any theme and place them in your Reaper/data/toolbar_icons directory, so they are always available to you no matter which theme you use. In fact, this is why most themes don't contain icons, because they would interfere with the users' existing set.

Just be sure to back up your set, especially if you use icons that are altered but have the same name as the default icon set, because when you update your Reaper version the icons are rewritten by the default set. What I do is to back up my set, and when I install a new version of Reaper, I delete the entire contents of the toolbar_icons folder and replace them with my backed up icons.

Time to rev up activity for this great Theme with V5 and solid compatibility.

Now at the top of my list (along with WT Imperial) for twin monitor setup. Insist on selected Track highlighted clearly; X-Raym Analog does this nicely.

Hoping for a wave of creative energy if some productive enhancements can add real value.

Regards

Great !
I love it and using it !
I combined it with my own modifications.

Only thing I would suggest: Is it possible to see the L/R panning more clearly in 1 veiw, by accent color (bar) for example when panned? And no color when centered.

Background of icons of the Add Icons to button window has been corrected in REAPER v5.70! (see bug report).

I advice all users of this theme who like to add new toolbar buttons to update. No need to unzip the theme anymore.

Cheers !

Like this theme but the bottom of the MCPs are too dark.
How can I disable the blur effect ?

I meant the color gradient : the bottom of the MCP (near the rec icons) is darker than the top.
I don't know how to change the gradient in the theme editor.

@dupont
This involves extraction the ThemeZip to a folder and change the MCP background related .png files in a bitmap editor.

I let you find more more documentation about Walter (the theme engine of reaper) on the web, there is great resource for that (that is basically how I made my theme).
