Default App is not optimised?

I got this warning after installing the latest REAPER build, 5.79.

A quick google shows that this should only happen with 32 bit fps, but I definitely installed the version labelled 64 bit, and it shows as 64 bit in "About REAPER".

What gives?

Thank you!

For anyone else - it is the 32 bit bridge that sets it off.

Man, you're such a tease!

And if it's the 32 bit version? What do I win if I get it right?

If you use video, just don't use Quicktime to decode files.(Justin's comment) That's it. Sorry for sticking.

Ah, right. I don't use video with REAPER, so I kinda didn't take that in

even if you do it can be removed since VLC or AVFoundation work much better anyway

There are other places where reaper_host_i386 might be loaded even if you don't have 32 bit plug-ins installed or use QuickTime. For example, if you enable ReWire mixer support, REAPER will scan for any 32-bit ReWire devices using reaper_host_i386.
