Default Custom fade-in/out action?

Can I make a custom action that creates a .5s fade-in and 1.0s fade-out on selected items?

There is surely other existing script by now, but here could be a start:
Scripts: Item Fades (various)

You can download the script (or better, duplicate it, if you have downloaded via reapack) and replace with your own value in the User Config Area section of the code. Also you can deactivate the popup.

Glad it works for you !

At some point I'll edit the script so that it can handle presets without altering the original source code with save last input. It's on my todo list but I have 150+ script for which I need to do that... Maybe a bit later ^^

FWIW, I didn't mind at all... In fact, I appreciate the opportunity to interact with the script that way as I'm still trying to learn may way around Reascript (which is why I was so pleased to find such detailed comments in your script)! Cheers!

@JRTaylorMusic
My saving last input is compatible with presets file as well, so it is only bonus :P

For learning reascript, I have video tutorials (link in my signature) you can appreciate.

Cheers !
