Default identity this symbol please

Logan 5, please identify the following symbol:

I selected an area of audio, deleted it, had to move the right side remaining audio to the left to NOT have space in the audio, that is annoying.
Probably a better way to perform that?

It somehow got fade crap put into it, removed the fade crap, now stuck with another symbol that I cannot remove, sigh...

It's a snap offset, you can select this item and use an action like: Script: X-Raym_Reset item snap offset.eel

Enable ripple editing (one of the buttons on the default tool bar). Make a time selection of the audio you wish to remove, then search for 'Cut selected area of items' in the action list (the action is mapped to Ctrl-DELETE in my install) and run the action.

This should delete the selected part of the item and shift anything to the right of it to fill the gap.

If you just want to remove the little triangle in the bottom left corner of the item (as show in the image you attached) you could just 'Glue items'. Select both items, right-click and select Glue items from the context menu.
