Adding UAD Apollo Twin plugins

I'm trying to add plugins (eq, compressor) to tracks and the entire mix but have only been able to access the plugins when tracking. I realize there are no auxiliary sends and returns, and I haven't been able to set up the Apollo as an effect.

Any suggestions?

I figured out that I needed to add the UAD plugins from the VST plugin settings on preferences. I wish that was made clearer to me, but now it makes sense!
